Hi, I’m Monique and my mission is simple and it’s something that I am wholeheartedly passionate about. I help burned out Ministry Leaders regain their energy and health so they have the stamina for Ministry.

Let me back up a bit...

After years of being an overweight, active church goer, I’d finally accepted my call in the ministry.  I knew that I was called to minister to ministers but I was hesitant to share this with anyone and began asking myself “who do you think you are?”  So, I laid low but began the traditional ministerial journey for the A.M.E. Church because there was no other path; when you accepted your call, you were immediately placed on the pastoral trek.  It wasn’t what I was called to do but, it was what it was.

During my studies, I felt out of place.  I knew I was not fulfilling my calling.  I kept seeing and hearing so many pastors, ministry leaders and upcoming ministry leaders share their health struggles.  They weren’t just sharing them, THEY ACCEPTED THEM AS NORMAL!  I wanted to say something! I felt helpless.  Year after year, I’d hear these stories, see ministry leaders struggle and I felt helpless (and guilty).

I had to do something, but I wasn’t feeling well either. I had been diagnosed with a condition called POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome), a form of Dysautonomia and I worked fulltime, I wasn’t sure how I could help. I eventually left the ministry (you knew that was coming). I also began to feel better by incorporating a few lifestyle and dietary changes. Along with incorporating these changes, I went back to school and worked in corporate America but still seeing and hearing about ministry leaders being sick and struggling from nutrition and lifestyle conditions plagued me. I decided to obtain certifications in Nutrition and Wellness and Fitness Training and I’ve taught strategies to help my clients and me improve our health, so I know Ministry Leaders can feel better if they did the same thing! Why isn’t someone telling them they can turn their health around?! …. Wait! I’M THE SOMEONE!  That’s when I birthed my company.
